Construction Site Supervisor

The Construction Site Supervisor role is onsite in Grand Haven, MI. Compensation is $75,000–$85,000 annually. The role is part of field operations for a family-owned general contractor serving commercial, industrial, multifamily, and historic renovation markets across West Michigan and beyond. The supervisor leads on-site project execution from groundbreaking through turnover, coordinating subcontractors, schedules, safety, quality, and documentation. By keeping Project Managers informed and resolving field issues, the role helps deliver projects according to plans, specifications, and timelines.

What you'll do

• Direct subcontractors
• maintain daily job-site logs and schedules
• monitor subcontractor purchase orders for specification compliance
• communicate project status and potential issues to Project Managers and Coordinators
• coordinate and document change orders
• uphold quality standards
• coordinate inspections
• conduct site walks, document punch-list items, upload progress photos, and resolve outstanding issues
• submit weekly reports
• maintain a clean and safe site
• communicate field changes for as-built documents.
