The Tower Painter / Rope Access Technician — Nationwide Travel role is based in Tampa, FL, with work nationwide and operations out of Nebraska; the work is onsite at tower locations. Pay is $25–$36 per hour, based on experience. Skyline Tower Painting paints communication towers across the United States. The role paints communication towers and develops proficiency in rigging and painting techniques while working safely at height. It supports the company’s tower-painting projects through careful, timely work and compliance with company and industry standards.

What you'll do

• Paint communication towers, including guyed towers, self-supporting towers, monopoles, and meteorological towers.
• Work at heights up to 1,500+ feet, maintain orderly living quarters and work areas, follow OSHA and company standards, attend training and certification programs as needed, and complete work safely and to quality standards.

Why this role

Must be willing to travel for a minimum of five weeks at a time and work overtime when needed. Requires a valid driver’s license and ability to carry 100 pounds; climbing experience is preferred. CPR/First Aid AED, OSHA 10, RF Radiation Safety & Awareness, Rescue, and Competent Climber certifications may be obtained.
