The Registered Nurse, Cardiac Telemetry is an onsite role in Independence, MO, with a stated pay range of $32–$43 per hour. The position is based in a 36-bed cardiac specialty unit at a Level II Trauma Center with an accredited Chest Pain Center and other specialty services. The nurse provides care for monitored patients with cardiac and other acute conditions, assesses changes in condition, interprets ECGs, and responds to emergencies. The role contributes to safe, timely care for patients requiring cardiac monitoring and step-down-level support.

What you'll do

• Assess acute changes in patient condition
• continuously monitor and analyze heart rhythms
• interpret ECGs and identify arrhythmias
• intervene in emergency situations
• provide care for monitored patients with chest pain, stroke, COPD, postoperative needs, GI conditions, accelerated heart rhythm, and drips
• support patients requiring step-down-level care.

Why this role
