Lead Stress Engineer

The Lead Stress Engineer is an onsite role based in Kempton, IN, with a salary range of $115,700 to $150,500 per year. This position supports the manufacturing team at a flagship facility dedicated to producing the rear section of the T-7A Redhawk military trainer aircraft for the United States Air Force. This role functions in both an MRB/Liaison and stress engineering capacity. The engineer will serve as a primary point of communication between engineering, manufacturing, and quality departments to resolve production issues while performing static and DaDT structural analyses on airframe components.

What you'll do

• Perform structural analyses, optimize designs for weight and cost, disposition non-conforming parts, act as a liaison between design and manufacturing, and provide real-time support for production issues.
