Storeroom Attendant

Job overview

The Storeroom Attendant is an onsite role at a customer location in Dubuque, IA. Compensation is $20 per hour. The attendant supports daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting of customer and/or Vallen inventory. The role maintains accurate stock records and an organized work area so site employees can access needed products, tools, and equipment. It also helps protect inventory, identify discrepancies, and keep supplies replenished.

What you'll do

• Unload, receive, inspect, and put away incoming products, goods, tools, and equipment
• sort, label, move, and store items
• issue items to site employees and document returns
• enter and retrieve inventory data
• record discrepancies and seek management guidance on corrective action
• request inventory replenishment
• perform cycle counts and prepare results
• inspect tools and equipment for defects or wear
• deliver equipment to work locations
• locate missing equipment or safety supplies
• repair, service, or lubricate tools and equipment as required.
