CT Technologist

Operates diagnostic equipment to produce computerized axial tomographic scan (CT) images. Prepares patients for scans, explains procedures, and administers contrast media. Enters patient and exam data into the computer system, prepares reports, and maintains records. Assists radiologist with interventional procedures and informs them of scan results.
