What you'll do

• Follows instructions from physicians regarding which area of the patient’s body needs imaging
• Talks the patient through the procedure and answer questions
• Positions the patient correctly and adjusts the imaging equipment
• Prevents unnecessary radiation exposure
• Follows correct techniques and procedures such as patient shielding
• Completes required documentation for each procedure.
