ASC Surgical/Scrub Technician

The ASC Surgical/Scrub Technician role is onsite in East Providence, RI. Compensation is not specified. The technician reports to the ASC Clinical Manager and works under the direction of a Registered Nurse in the operating or procedure room. The technician supports safe, organized surgical care by preparing rooms and supplies, assisting the surgical team, maintaining sterile technique, and processing instruments and equipment. The role contributes to patient care and emergency readiness within the ambulatory surgery center.

What you'll do

• Support patient care under Registered Nurse direction
• prepare operating and procedure rooms
• assist with gowning, gloving, skin preparation, and draping
• maintain sterile and non-sterile supplies and equipment
• handle specimens according to policy
• clean and process instruments
• participate in sponge, instrument, and needle counts
• prepare supplies based on the daily schedule
• respond to emergencies and perform basic CPR under direction.
