Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full-Time Evening Weekend Package in Moffit, ND. This is an onsite, full-time position with an hourly salary range of $19.00 - $25.50. Good Samaritan is a not-for-profit organization with over 100 years of service to seniors. This role serves as a caregiver to residents, providing resident-centered nursing care and assistance with daily living activities under the supervision of a registered nurse. The CNA is responsible for age-appropriate care, infection control, and documenting resident status.

What you'll do

• Serves as caregiver to the resident during the scheduled work period in long term care.
• Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned resident under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
• Delivers age-appropriate care related to the physical and psychological needs of the resident as per care plan.
• Follows infection prevention and control policies and Personal Protective Equipment use.
• Provides assistance with basic health care needs including daily living activities (bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, psychosocial support, personal care).
• Assists resident in transferring, repositioning, and walking.
• Provides range of motion and passive exercises.
• Completes tasks related to food preparation and dining, creating a positive dining experience.
• Assists residents with meals and snacks, provides water and supplements.
• Aids providers and nursing staff members with procedures.
• Documents resident interactions and outcomes.
• Communicates resident's changing condition and care concerns to the charge nurse.
• Collects non-invasive body fluid specimens and gathers vital signs.
• Provides housekeeping and laundry services.
• Provides assistance and documentation with wellness and recreational programs.

What we're looking for

Education

High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.

Experience

Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
