Memory Care Aide, Night Shift

The Memory Care Aide role is onsite at Masonicare at Mystic in Mystic, CT. The schedule is 24 hours per week on the night shift, every other weekend. Pay is $18.50–$25.00 per hour. Masonicare at Mystic provides assisted living services. The aide supports residents’ independence, choice, and quality of life through personal care, daily living assistance, resident rounds, and documentation. The role also observes and reports changes in residents’ physical or cognitive and emotional status to appropriate supervisors.

What you'll do

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, mobility, toileting, meals, hygiene, transfers, and assistive devices
• support instrumental daily activities and light housekeeping
• cue residents in self-administration of medications
• observe and report changes
• conduct room checks and document events
• assist with dining and resident-centered activities
• follow confidentiality policies.
