CNC Machinist — Lathes and Mills

The CNC Machinist — Lathes and Mills role is onsite in Bessemer, AL. Pay is $18–$20 per hour, with room for future increases. The machinist supports manufacturing and rebuilding of high-performance clutches and flywheels for race cars and performance vehicles. The machinist sets up and operates CNC equipment to produce drivetrain components to precise specifications. Inspection, troubleshooting, and adherence to safety and quality practices help ensure parts meet production requirements.

What you'll do

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC lathes and milling machines
• machine clutch components, flywheels, pressure plates, and drivetrain parts
• read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• inspect finished parts with precision measuring tools
• adjust machines and change tools
• maintain quality standards
• troubleshoot production issues
• assist with equipment upkeep and shop organization
• follow safety procedures.

Why this role
