Special Projects Manager, Building Systems

The Special Projects Manager, Building Systems role is onsite in Columbus, OH, with local travel up to 50% of the time. The base salary is $110,000–$140,000 per year. Limbach designs, installs, manages, services, and maintains building systems including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and controls. The manager operates the Special Projects department in line with annual sales and operating goals. The role develops customers and project opportunities, coordinates estimates and bids, supports contract implementation, tracks job costs and forecasts, and develops direct reports to meet team objectives and project standards.

What you'll do

• Support department sales and operating income goals
• prospect for new customers
• partner on value engineering and design-assist or design-build scopes
• contribute to estimates
• prepare bid scopes and documentation
• review bid documents and perform trade take-offs
• attend pre-bid meetings and site walkthroughs
• coordinate with customers and contractors during bidding
• implement new contracts
• track job costs, forecasts, billings, and collections
• prepare and review proposals
• train and provide feedback to direct reports.
