Part-Time Transportation Assistant — Organ and Tissue Donation Logistics

The Part-Time Transportation Assistant role is onsite in North Liberty, IA. Pay is $25 per hour. The schedule requires at least five 24-hour call shifts per month, including four weekend shifts and holidays. Iowa Donor Network facilitates organ, tissue, and cornea recovery and supports donor families. The assistant transports decedents, organs, specimens, supplies, staff, and transplant surgeons during the donation process. The work supports timely logistics and the organization’s mission to facilitate donation and honor donors and their families.

What you'll do

• Transport decedents from Iowa Donor Network facilities to designated funeral homes
• transport organs, specimens, and supplies
• transport staff and transplant surgeons
• safely operate an assigned vehicle
• use GPS to navigate
• and follow organizational procedures and traffic laws.
