What you'll do

• Conduct initial patient assessments when a Nurse Practitioner is absent
• oversee admissions, transfers, and discharges
• support nursing care, monitoring, assessment, and documentation
• assist with treatment-plan communication
• conduct audits and support checklist completion
• lead shift-change meetings
• identify high-risk patients and discuss plans with providers
• coordinate handoffs and returns from higher levels of care
• lead emergency response teams
• administer medications and complete medication counts
• assist with urine drug screens and lab-result communication.
