Orthotic and Prosthetic Technician

What you'll do

• Use hand tools to fabricate and repair orthotic or prosthetic devices
• perform ordering, receiving, and inventory tasks
• may fit and deliver prefabricated and off-the-shelf orthoses
• educate patients on application, use, care, and expected outcomes of DME products as indicated by physician instructions and manufacturer recommendations
• order fabrication materials from vendors and maintain inventory.
