The Senior Research and Development Networked Electronic Warfare Test Engineer role is fully onsite in West Los Angeles, CA, Monday through Friday. Occasional overnight travel may be needed for experimentation and demonstrations. Compensation is $140,000–$195,000 per year. The role reports to the Senior R&D Director, Electronic Warfare, within Silvus Technologies’ Research and Development department. The engineer develops and executes test coverage for networked electronic warfare capabilities and wireless products under development. The work translates performance requirements into test plans, infrastructure, automation, troubleshooting, and demonstrations that help R&D and Engineering assess new designs and features.

What you'll do

• Design and execute test procedures for radio-frequency sensing and other effects using company hardware and software
• work with R&D and Engineering to define requirements and expected system behavior
• develop test plans and automation
• troubleshoot and qualify new designs
• collaborate with Software Development to update test systems for new features and configurations
• build logging and analysis tools for systems under test and test infrastructure
• support experimentation and demonstrations, including occasional travel.
