CDL Equipment Driver - Travel

Job overview

The CDL Equipment Driver - Travel is an onsite role based in Edison, NJ, with up to 50% overnight travel. Compensation is $27-$28+ per hour, supporting Clean Harbors' mission of environmental, energy, and industrial services. This role is responsible for operating heavy and light-duty trucks and work equipment at customer sites, including vacuum trucks and roll-offs. The driver performs both driving and non-driving duties associated with hazardous waste clean-up, requiring availability for emergency response and project work.

What you'll do

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers.
• Loading and unloading of trucks.
• Manual labor on site to ensure fulfillment of customer needs.
• Proper placarding of vehicles to meet Company and DOT requirements.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and various reports.
