The Registered Nurse (RN), Addiction Medicine — Per Diem role is onsite in Roxbury, MA. Compensation is $50–$55 per hour. The Dimock Center is a federally qualified community health center that heals and uplifts individuals, families, and communities. The nurse provides medically monitored withdrawal-management care and supports patient safety, dignity, and stabilization during detoxification and early recovery. Through assessment, monitoring, medication administration, education, and coordination with an interdisciplinary team, the role contributes to individualized treatment and recovery-oriented care.

What you'll do

• Conduct physical and psychosocial assessments
• monitor withdrawal symptoms, vital signs, changes in condition, and potential complications
• administer ordered medications and treatments
• provide evidence-based nursing interventions and direct patient care
• educate patients and families
• collaborate on individualized treatment plans
• communicate patient status
• maintain complete clinical documentation and confidentiality
• participate in quality improvement and required training.
