The Licensed Counselor role is onsite in Fort Collins, CO. Compensation is $31.25–$36.00 per hour, plus performance bonus opportunities. The counselor supports Behavioral Health Group’s treatment program and patients working toward social, educational, and occupational goals and a drug-free life. The counselor provides individual and group substance-use counseling, develops and updates treatment plans, and coordinates referrals and follow-up. The work supports patient recovery while maintaining program, licensing, and regulatory requirements.

What you'll do

• Conduct alcohol and drug abuse counseling and group sessions as required
• orient patients to program operations
• assess social, educational, economic, and vocational information
• develop and revise treatment plans and records
• make referrals and follow up
• provide intake, crisis intervention, and supportive counseling
• coordinate care with community providers.
