Experienced Auto Body Technician

The Experienced Auto Body Technician position is onsite at the Manville, NJ site. Pay is $28–$35 per hour based on experience and skill level, plus a $1 shift differential. The listed schedule is 6:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with Saturday overtime as needed. Carvana reconditions vehicles at its inspection centers before they reach customers. The technician performs extensive bodywork on multiple vehicle panels and is expected to train other autobody technicians. The work supports vehicle reconditioning and customer delivery commitments, with mandatory overtime possible based on business needs.

What you'll do

• Perform heavy plastic welding and stapling
• complete metal pulling, straightening, shrinking, and stud welding
• repair roofs and rocker panels
• perform large-area bodywork, including Bondo repair
• train other autobody technicians
• use tools and equipment safely and meet production needs.
