The position is with ACGBBQ, LLC, a licensed franchisee of Sonny’s BBQ, whose stated purpose is to provide guests a memorable experience through food, connection, and BBQ. The cook prepares food and processes orders while maintaining food-safety and sanitation practices. The role supports kitchen operations by managing grill and frying equipment, following menu and preparation procedures, and keeping the workstation clean during and after shifts.

What you'll do

• Cook food
• learn and apply Sonny’s back-of-house terminology, menu items, plating, procedures, utensils, and methods
• manage the grill
• operate frying equipment and bread grill
• read orders and process them according to the KDS
• maintain a clean workstation
• follow sanitation and food-preparation guidelines
• perform cleaning duties
• use a meat slicer and sharp knives
• perform other assigned duties.
