MRI Tech at Mission Hospital This is an onsite position in Hendersonville, NC. Compensation is not specified. This role exists to perform diagnostic imaging services utilizing Magnetic Resonance medical equipment, performing a variety of MRI procedures on various patients. The technologist is responsible for patient safety and implementing MRI screening protocols.
What you'll do
- Demonstrates the ability and competency to provide imaging services utilizing Magnetic Resonance medical equipment.
- Performs a variety of MRI procedures, invasive and non-invasive on a variety of patients.
- Utilizes sterile technique if necessary, operating complex MRI equipment and assist physicians as needed.
- Responsible for the manipulation of computer data and images for interpretation, and reproducing them on film, and /or the utilization of a networking system for permanent storage.
- Functions without constant supervision.
- Independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative are essential.
- Responsibility for designated areas and procedures is assumed.
- Responsible for the safety of patients and staff in the MRI suite, and implemental in patient MRI screening.
What we're looking for
- Education
- Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program.
- Experience
- 2 years of experience in a multi-disciplined Radiology department or have approved experience gained through a clinical education program in MRI.
