The manager oversees external contract manufacturing organizations and works across discovery, quality, and regulatory functions to advance drug candidates toward clinical manufacturing. The role develops and improves chemical processes so drug substance can be manufactured safely, effectively, and economically, while supporting compliance and clinical timelines.

What you'll do

• Direct international contract manufacturing organizations developing chemical processes, designing experiments, and troubleshooting manufacturing issues
• analyze production methods and recommend improvements
• partner with Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs on compliance and audit readiness
• prepare technical reports and present findings
• track chemical technology developments. Domestic and international travel is required, and meetings outside standard business hours may be needed for global time zones.
