Child Care Provider — Postpartum Outpatient Nursery

The Child Care Provider role is onsite in Fresno, CA, and pays $18–$20 per hour. Sierra Meadows Behavioral Health is launching a Postpartum Outpatient Track with an onsite nursery so mothers in treatment can remain close to their infants. The role exists to provide safe, attentive care for infants and toddlers while their mothers attend group treatment, allowing mothers to focus on care while knowing their babies are supported nearby.

What you'll do

• Care for infants and toddlers ages 0–24 months through feeding, burping, diapering, soothing, and age-appropriate interaction
• follow American Academy of Pediatrics safe-sleep and infection-control standards
• document check-in and check-out, feedings, diaper changes, and health observations
• provide verbal handoffs to mothers
• clean and sanitize the nursery and check supplies
• report observations to clinical staff
• respond to infant emergencies according to established procedures
• maintain confidentiality and complete required training.

Why this role

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Requires at least one year of professional infant/toddler care experience, current Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it within 30 days, TB clearance, fingerprint clearance, and mandated reporter training.
