Compensation is $47 per hour. This Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role is an onsite 13-week contract assignment located in Walsenburg, CO. The role exists to provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment. The LPN will contribute to the interdisciplinary team by monitoring resident health, administering medications, and ensuring accurate documentation to support optimal patient outcomes.
What you'll do
- Provide skilled nursing care to long-term care and skilled nursing residents.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and communicate concerns appropriately.
- Assist with care planning and ongoing resident assessments.
- Collaborate with RNs, providers, CNAs, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
- Float within the facility as needed to support resident care.
