Medical Laboratory Technician — Night Shift

Decypher partners with the Defense Health Agency to provide healthcare services and support the health and readiness of service members, veterans, and their families. The technician performs clinical laboratory testing across multiple sections and supports accurate, timely reporting. Specimen preparation, instrument maintenance, quality control, and compliance with laboratory protocols contribute to reliable laboratory operations and patient care.

What you'll do

• Perform clinical laboratory tests in assigned sections
• assess specimen suitability and prepare specimens
• prepare reagents
• calibrate, maintain, and verify instruments
• troubleshoot common problems
• obtain and verify analytical data
• conduct quality-control procedures and maintain records
• prepare specimens for transport and biological waste for disposal
• use laboratory information systems
• and perform duties in accordance with Joint Commission standards.

Why this role
