What you'll do

• Assist the Transit Operations Manager with department administration and supervise operations employees
• assume the manager’s general responsibilities when the manager is out
• support the safety program and conduct safety observations
• supervise field crews and ensure use of safety equipment and procedures
• route work orders efficiently
• maintain shop, equipment, and inventory
• perform minor equipment repairs
• help resolve field issues and assist with field work as needed.
