The Activity Assistant (Resident Lifestyle Assistant) role is onsite in Sonoma, CA. Compensation is $19–$20 per hour. Cogir of Sonoma Plaza is part of Cogir Senior Living, which operates senior living communities and aims to enrich residents’ lives. The assistant supports the Resident Lifestyle Director by coordinating and facilitating daily life-enrichment activities. Through social, educational, recreational, and other programming, the role promotes residents’ physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being.

What you'll do

• Engage residents individually and in groups
• lead or assist with social, religious, educational, indoor, and outdoor activities, exercise, and outings
• facilitate games, conversations, exercise classes, art, music, trips, and special events
• support the monthly newsletter
• encourage participation and document outcomes when required
• review goals and progress notes
• help decorate for events and holidays
• coordinate external trips and support resident safety
• assist the Resident Lifestyle Director as needed.
