Job overview

The Medical Assistant role is onsite in Las Vegas, NV; compensation is $17–$25 per hour. The position supports front- and back-office operations for Nevada Health Alliance’s healthcare team. The assistant helps providers deliver patient-centered care by supporting clinical procedures, patient flow, records, and administrative processes. The role also handles scheduling, insurance verification, patient intake, and clinic workflow support.

What you'll do

• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments
• prepare and maintain examination rooms
• collect and update medical histories and vital signs in the EHR
• administer medications and perform basic clinical tasks as directed
• manage check-in, check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, referrals, and authorizations
• maintain confidential patient records
• support clinic workflow and communicate with patients and team members.
