The DevSecOps Engineer — AWS Infrastructure Architecture role is remote within the United States, with compensation not specified. The role supports the Operations workstream of a federal client’s technology operations, maintenance, and enhancement program. PhoenixTeam works with clients to modernize legacy systems and deliver technology solutions in regulated environments. This architecture-focused engineer designs repeatable AWS infrastructure and CI/CD approaches for a RHEL 8 migration across production and non-production environments. The role provides technical direction and design review so delivery teams can implement secure, consistent infrastructure aligned with client governance and security requirements.

What you'll do

• Architect AWS infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and CloudFormation
• design AWS accounts, EC2 provisioning, VPCs, and network connectivity
• define secure integration patterns for a FedRAMP-authorized GovCloud environment
• architect CI/CD automation
• establish reusable templates and standards
• guide environment build-out and validation
• provide design review to DevOps and Systems Engineers
• support RDS, Jenkins migration, DNS cutover, vulnerability scanning, technical discovery, compliance alignment, performance analysis, and architecture documentation.
