The Production Operator — 1st Shift role is an onsite, full-time position in Elk Grove Village, IL. Pay is $19.50–$22.00 per hour. The role supports Irca Group’s production of ingredients for bakery, pastry, and ice cream markets. The operator performs production tasks across mixing, extrusion, polishing, and product transfer, following work instructions and safety, food-safety, and quality requirements to help transform ingredients into finished products.

What you'll do

• Gather, measure, weigh, and document ingredients
• load and unload mixers
• process batches through extrusion equipment and check product against specifications
• transfer and polish finished product
• move product between processes
• follow human safety, food safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, and quality requirements
• scan ingredient barcodes and record quantities
• use powered hand trucks
• perform lockout/tagout duties when unloading and cleaning equipment
• sift finished product to check size and shape.
