This position supports the Surveillance Systems Division, contributing to Saab's mission of keeping nations and society safe through advanced defense technology. The role exists to identify, develop, and capture strategic business opportunities within the airborne portfolio. The Capture Manager works closely with cross-functional teams to build winning strategies, manage customer relationships, and drive long-term growth for the organization.

What you'll do

• Lead capture strategy and execution for strategic airborne business opportunities within the U.S.
• Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with military, government, industry, and contractor stakeholders.
• Develop winning capture plans.
• Partner with engineering, product management, contracts, and program teams to align solutions with customer requirements.
• Support proposal development, negotiations, and contract award activities.
• Monitor market trends and competitor positioning to inform growth strategies.
• Achieve portfolio growth objectives including bookings, revenue, and pipeline targets.

Why this role

Requires 8+ years of experience in defense, aerospace, business development, or capture management. Must possess or be eligible for an active Secret security clearance. Experience with Airborne Early Warning (AEW) and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) is preferred.
