The CDL Class A Yard Driver role is onsite in Denver, CO; compensation is $29.75 per hour. The driver works in and around the company’s main yard, moving trailers between yards or to docks at the request of warehouse or transportation teams. The role supports safe, efficient yard and plant operations by moving trailers and cargo, inspecting and maintaining equipment, and communicating damage or vehicle issues promptly. It requires careful operation of tractor-trailers in a low-mileage, severe-duty environment.

What you'll do

• Safely operate tractors and trailers in compliance with DOT laws and company standards
• move trailers between yards or to docks
• perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance and complete DVIRs
• report defects and damage
• operate equipment to load, unload, or disperse cargo
• conduct pre- and post-trip inspections
• maintain radio or telephone contact with dispatch or supervisors
• comply with plant safety requirements.
