The Staff / Lead Engineer, Refrigeration & Thermal Systems role is onsite in Greenville, Michigan, across office, laboratory, and manufacturing environments. Compensation is $80,000–$115,000 per year. The role supports Composition Brands’ Marvel, U-Line, and Viking Refrigeration brands. As the primary technical integrator and system architect for refrigeration platforms, the engineer guides architecture, reliability, supplier strategy, and manufacturing integration from concept through production to improve platform quality, performance, and field reliability.

What you'll do

• Establish multi-year refrigeration platform architectures and technical roadmaps
• develop system-level verification and validation strategies and testing matrices
• set design-for-six-sigma, manufacturing, assembly, failure-mode, and tolerance-stack-up standards
• lead root-cause investigations and countermeasures
• partner with procurement, quality, and supplier development on components and tooling
• lead technical design reviews, mentor senior engineers, and drive continuous improvement.
