The Senior Accountant role is hybrid in Bakersfield, CA, with 40 hours per week. Pay is $32–$37 per hour. The role oversees general ledger work, reconciliations, grant accounting, healthcare transactions, audit support, and internal controls, providing reliable information for management and program leaders.

What you'll do

• Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts
• complete monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
• prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
• process grant invoices and drawdowns
• review healthcare payer and insurance transactions
• prepare audit documentation
• maintain confidential records
• improve accounting procedures and controls
• and provide financial information to management and program leadership.
