The Driver - Micro Transit - Day Shift role is an onsite position located in Charlottesville, VA. Compensation is $20.00 per hour. This role supports the MicroCAT service in partnership with the Charlottesville Area Transit department. The role exists to provide efficient shared ride transportation services using app-based technology. The driver partner contributes to the team by reducing traffic congestion and lowering emissions while ensuring passengers reach their destinations safely and efficiently.

What you'll do

• Operate a vehicle on the Via platform to provide shared rides for MicroCAT passengers.
• Maintain vehicle safety and cleanliness.
• Adhere to routing instructions provided by the app-based system.
• Complete required safety training and drug/alcohol testing programs.
