The Medical Assistant — Bilingual Spanish-English, Primary Care role is onsite at a clinic in Irving, TX, with a Monday–Friday schedule. Pay is $14–$16 per hour. Call On Doc’s primary care clinic seeks a bilingual assistant to facilitate communication between Spanish-speaking patients and healthcare providers. Interpretation is the primary purpose of the role, with front- and back-office clinical support when interpretation is not needed. The assistant helps patients and providers communicate accurately while supporting patient intake, routine clinical workflows, and clinic administration.

What you'll do

• Interpret accurately between Spanish-speaking patients and English-speaking providers, including questions, symptoms, histories, and instructions
• maintain neutrality, privacy, and confidentiality
• interview patients and document basic histories
• measure and record vital signs
• prepare exam rooms and assist providers
• support rooming, checkout, and call triage
• schedule appointments, coordinate referrals, maintain records, and provide additional administrative support when applicable and when primary duties are covered.
