Pest Control Technician

Job overview

The Pest Control Technician role is onsite in Honolulu, HI. Compensation is $30 per hour. The technician supports Island Palm Communities’ goal of providing safe, pest-free living conditions for residents. The role identifies and manages structural pest problems using integrated pest management practices, applies and records treatments in compliance with regulations, and maintains supplies and required credentials.

What you'll do

• Identify pest problems and appropriate solutions
• apply chemical or mechanical controls in accordance with integrated pest management practices and applicable regulations
• select, mix, and apply chemicals according to product labels and regulations
• record chemical application data
• maintain inventory of materials
• meet work-order response and completion times
• maintain applicable certifications and licenses.

Why this role

Requires a state pesticide application license, pest control applicator certification, a current driver’s license, and the ability to pass a respirator fit test, which may include removal of facial hair.
