Technician II – Line Locator

What you'll do

• Locate and mark underground water, wastewater, and reclaimed-water services using maps and tools
• assist with installation, locating, and repair of water distribution infrastructure
• perform routine servicing and corrective maintenance
• inspect and maintain vehicles and equipment
• read diagrams, as-builts, and maps
• operate tools and equipment for hauling materials and digging or refilling trenches
• maintain accurate utility-location records
• follow safety procedures and project SOPs
• provide training and support to junior locators as needed
• respond to pages and on-call shifts as requested.
