Specimen Collector

Job overview

The Specimen Collector role is onsite in Boardman, OR, Monday to Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Compensation is $20–$23 per hour, depending on qualifications, experience, and location. Millennium Health is a specialty laboratory supporting clinicians’ medication monitoring and drug testing services. The collector provides patient care and customer service while collecting and processing specimens and serving as a link between clinics and the laboratory. Accurate records, specimen handling, and compliance support the laboratory’s clinical services.

What you'll do

• Collect urine and/or oral fluid specimens
• process and package collections for shipping
• serve as an intermediary between clinics and the laboratory
• record patient, physician order, and laboratory information
• resolve specimen concerns in the ordering portal
• maintain collection supplies
• observe collections when applicable
• and drive between facilities if required.
