Senior Cook — Full-Time

Job overview

The Senior Cook role is onsite at Rivertown Neighborhood in Detroit, MI, with a 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. schedule, rotating weekends and holidays, and days that may vary. Pay is $18–$21 per hour. Morrison Living’s culinary team prepares food for the people it serves.

What you'll do

• Prepare entrees and menu items according to established recipes and applicable standards
• operate and clean equipment
• store, label, and date food
• maintain organized dry, refrigerated, and frozen storage
• follow HACCP and sanitation guidelines
• assist with production records and documentation
• and help cross-train employees. The cook may oversee food service associates as assigned by the Food Service Director.
