The High School Field Operations Intern role is onsite in Okatie, SC, during the 2027 spring semester. Pay is $15 per hour. The internship supports field teams maintaining water and wastewater infrastructure for the Beaufort-Jasper Water & Sewer Authority. The internship exists to provide current high school seniors in Beaufort and Jasper counties with hands-on exposure to essential utility operations. Working alongside experienced professionals, the intern gains exposure to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, instrumentation, maintenance, and repair work that helps keep infrastructure operating safely and efficiently.

Why this role

Open to current high school seniors in Beaufort and Jasper counties who will be at least 18 by the program start. The internship lasts up to 15 weeks and is about 20–25 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
