Ramp Agent

The Ramp Agent role is onsite in Roanoke, VA, and is part-time. Pay is $17 per hour. The position supports aircraft arrivals and departures at the airport ramp for Choice Aviation Service. The agent helps turn aircraft around safely and efficiently by directing aircraft, handling baggage and cargo, and servicing aircraft. The role contributes to secure, timely ground operations through equipment checks, communication with flight crews, and compliance with safety and quality procedures.

What you'll do

• Maintain ramp safety and security
• set up and store equipment and baggage
• marshal arriving, departing, and towed aircraft
• handle and transfer baggage and airfreight
• service lavatories and potable water and groom cabins as needed
• inspect and maintain ground service equipment
• communicate with flight crews and ground personnel
• and participate in safety and quality systems.

Why this role
