Industrial Painter Blaster — Mountain West Traveling Position

Job overview

The Industrial Painter Blaster role is onsite, with positions in and around Salt Lake City, UT, and the Mountain West area. Pay is $24–$32 per hour, depending on experience. Heat Tech Industrial provides specialized industrial services, including industrial coatings and construction services, to clients across the country. The role prepares and coats industrial surfaces and supports related industrial construction projects. By following safety precautions and operating blasting and painting equipment, the painter blaster contributes to completing time-sensitive projects to the required specifications.

What you'll do

• Read data sheets and assess surfaces to determine work needed
• prepare job sites, including building scaffolding and covering fixtures
• prepare surfaces for painting
• follow health and safety precautions
• safely operate blast pots, grinders, mobile equipment, and airless and conventional equipment
• work with a team on miscellaneous industrial construction projects.

Why this role

Workdays are generally weekdays, subject to weather and time-sensitive jobs; shifts are 10 hours a day, five days a week. Per diem may be paid depending on eligibility, with an allowance for qualifying out-of-town work.
