ISP Motel Resident Monitor

Job overview

The ISP Motel Resident Monitor role is onsite in Los Angeles, CA. Pay is $23–$27 per hour. The position supports SSG/HOPICS interim housing operations and participant safety, engagement, and housing stability. The monitor conducts wellness checks and room inspections, documents incidents and participant contacts, and coordinates with case managers and service providers. The role helps maintain a safe, supportive, housing-focused environment while following program and agency requirements.

What you'll do

• Support participant admissions, orientations, and intake
• complete contact logs, shift notes, incident reports, and room inspection documentation
• conduct motel site visits and wellness checks
• identify participant needs and coordinate with case managers
• monitor program expectations, curfew, common areas, and room safety
• assist with emergency procedures, supplies, move-ins, transfers, and exits
• communicate concerns and maintain confidentiality
• assist with participant transportation when assigned.

Why this role

High school diploma or equivalent required; CPR and First Aid certifications are required within 30 days of employment. Some weekday evening and weekend-day work may be required; local automobile travel may be required.
