What you'll do

• Obtain and update physician orders for wound treatments
• administer treatments and monitor healing
• document wound status weekly and record skin changes
• notify residents, families, physicians, and team members of changes
• review and revise care plans
• participate in care planning meetings and MDS updates
• report wound status to the Director of Nursing
• provide wound-care education and staff in-service training
• follow infection-control and safety standards.
