Special Education Teacher

The Special Education Teacher role is an in-person, full-time position in Boulder, CO, serving multiple schools during the school-year assignment. Pay is $45.00–$58.00 per hour. Schoolforce Solutions supports the teacher through a dedicated Relationship Manager and resources for the assignment. The teacher develops and implements individualized instruction and supports students with disabilities in individual, small-group, and inclusive settings. The work contributes to student progress through adapted lessons, progress monitoring, collaboration, and implementation of behavioral and educational plans.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement IEPs
• provide differentiated instruction in one-on-one, small-group, and inclusive classroom settings
• adapt lessons and curriculum
• assess and monitor student progress
• collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
• participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and parent-teacher conferences
• maintain records in compliance with Colorado Department of Education and IDEA guidelines
• implement behavioral intervention plans and classroom management strategies.
