Through coaching, observation, feedback, and collaboration with school leaders, the role helps teachers implement instructional strategies and curriculum frameworks.

What you'll do

• Facilitate teacher understanding and implementation of Common Core State Standards and ACT College Readiness Standards through school-wide professional learning communities
• support curriculum framework implementation through training and observation feedback
• create learning plans aligned with academic goals
• coach through co-planning, modeling, co-teaching, observation, and feedback
• analyze teacher practice, data, and student work
• collaborate with principals and deans on academic goals
• co-present at new teacher seminars and the GCS Educator’s Conference
• attend monthly coaching meetings.
