What you'll do

• Achieving Maintenance goals with the highest regard for employee safety. Capable of supporting troubleshooting & observations of machine centers with shift supervisors and other maintenance staff to ensure production and quality standards are met. Managing the department cost in an aggressive manner assuring optimum manufacturing unit cost
• develop and educate key metrics. Maintenance Planning, planning non-emergency maintenance, coordinating PM routes. Effectively communicating goals and/or instructions. Managing conflicts. Supervising Maintenance and Cleanup personnel on varying schedules. Managing contractor safety through active leadership. Maintenance of sawmill equipment. Safety of the crew. Arrange WF Training for and mentoring apprentices. Creating and planning improvement projects. Managing parts with the purchaser. Scheduling and attendance. Will include periodic weekend coverage. Inspecting completed work.
