The New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer — Automotive Exteriors role is onsite in Holland, MI, with compensation of $80,000–$100,000 per year. The engineer drives product development from concept through validation, coordinating technical work across product, process, tooling, and materials. The role contributes to successful launches by resolving engineering issues, managing required deliverables, and supporting prototype, pre-production, and production builds.

What you'll do

• Drive product engineering to automotive standards and customer specifications
• champion design for manufacturing and assembly
• manage change workflows
• coordinate technical work across product, process, tooling, and materials
• apply engineering analysis to resolve issues
• lead customer-facing value analysis and value engineering
• coordinate prototypes and testing
• own DFMEA, product specification and verification, EBOM, DVP&R, and VA/VE deliverables
• support builds onsite as needed.
